In recent years Keller Sales and Engineering has become increasingly involved in the handling, storage and processing of sludge, primarily in waste water treatment.

What is sludge? Sludge is the solid material remaining after sewage treatment facilities purify wastewater from homes, business and industries. Screw conveyors and feeders are used for the gentle handling of sludge granules.

Keller Sales and Engineering can design and build custom screw & belt conveyors to haul the sludge from point A to point B. We can also build the dryers to run the sludge thru. At this time in the state of Florida there are Keller conveyor systems in at least 200 municipalities. Some of these cities have at least three separate plants within the city.
